What to Expect for Winter 2021/22

The health and well-being of our guests, visitors and team remains our highest priority. and we are operating the Ski Area with extreme caution, and by following all government and the Provincial Health Officer’s orders and guidelines. As a result, a number of precautionary measures have been put in place to ensure that everyone will stay safe in and around our ski area.

Please do not visit if you or someone in your household is showing symptoms of COVID-19 or are feeling unwell.

  • Proof of vaccination is required for all guests aged 12 and over. You will be required to show your proof of vaccination and government issued ID when purchasing lift tickets and/or entering the ski chalet.

  • Please sanitize your hands upon entering the Ski Chalet/Rental Shop and wash your hands frequently throughout the day.
  • Physical distancing protocols are in place to ensure guests and staff have plenty of space to enjoy the ski area safely.
  • Face coverings are required when indoors of the ski chalet and rental shop. Face coverings are recommended when purchasing tickets, in lift line-ups, while loading and riding the lifts.
  • Washrooms and all frequently touched areas will have enhanced sanitization protocols.
  • Our plans may change as the pandemic situation continues to evolve. Please check our website for the most up-to-date information before you visit.

Season Pass Holders will have unrestricted access as normal. Season Passes are valid beginning December 2021 and pass holders will have access to the hot springs pools for the 2021/22 Ski Season.

No reservations required! Please use our outside ticket window located at the base of the ski hill. Day tickets do not include access to the hot springs pools.

In order to reduce traffic through the buildings, lockers and other onsite storage are unavailable this season. Please store your gear in your car and consider having quick breaks there during the day.

Physical distancing of 2 meters (6′) is encouraged throughout the Resort (indoors and outdoors). Please respect other people’s space and stay apart from people outside your family, bubble or cohort.

Skis and snowboards work nicely as a distance measure in the lift lines!

Face coverings are required when indoors of the ski chalet and rental shop for guests aged 5 and older. Face covering are recommended while loading and riding the lifts. A face covering can be a mask, neck warmer, balaclava or any other item that covers your nose, mouth and chin.

Please stick with your group on the slopes, in line-ups and while indoors.

Single riders may be paired with others on lifts.

Desperados & Sundance Café will open December 17, 2021 with the Ski Area. We ask that you refrain from staying at a table longer than required to ensure everyone has a chance to warm up & re-fuel.

Be sure to wear your face covering indoors except when seated to eat and drink.

Take-out or bringing your own lunch? Make it a tailgate break! Enjoy the fresh mountain air, great views and the casual vibe. Lawn chairs welcome!

The rental shop will have select retail available for day-of-rentals. Capacity limits will be in place to adhere to physical distancing rules, if you plan to rent day-of, please allow yourself extra time.

Multi-day and season rentals highly recommended.

There will be a dedicated parking section for ski rental pick-up and drop-off.

Private lessons, smaller group lessons and family & cohort lessons will be available this season. Pre-booking is required, please call 250.345.6037 to book.

Face coverings are recommended while in lesson.
