Fairmont Hot Springs Resort Ski Area
Ski, Board and Tube
Small in a big way, we are big on views, grooming and a fun family atmosphere! The Fairmont Hot Springs Ski Area is a hill where generation after generation, young and old and novice and intermediate return to play on its slopes. It's one of the best places for you and your family to learn to ski thanks to guaranteed soft-packed snow that is easily carved for both skiers and snowboarders.
The ski chalet features not only Desperados Restaurant, but also a cafeteria with a large offering of menu items, snacks and drinks. Bring the whole family, kick off those ski boots, and refuel before hitting the BC mountain slopes again.
Terrain Parks are open and available to anyone with a valid Day Pass or Season’s Pass. Helmets are required. Please use caution.

Inset into the Rocky Mountains, our southwest facing slopes offer exciting terrain and hours of fun on the hill. With such an opportune landscape, the bounty that Mother Nature affords us here is unsurpassed.
With a total of 14 runs and three lifts including the magic carpet, our runs range from green to black in skill level, diverse terrain that provides an ideal family hill for skiing and snowboarding. Don’t forget to check out the popular Kids Aquafina Terrain Park, which has nine progressive features and an introduction to rails for beginner to advanced skiers and riders.
Intermediate skiers and boarders don’t miss our Rock Star Terrain Park where there are 20 rails that are built for progression and a jump zone where there are bigger hits for the more advanced riders.
Enjoy the lack of lift lines, the open runs, the freshly groomed trails and most notably – the panoramic view your greatest spectators – the surrounding peaks and the valley below. There is opportunity for nordic skiing and snowshoeing on any of our six trails surrounding the ski area, byos (bring your own nordic skis!) or rent snowshoes at our Basecamp.
We are so hot and cool here at the resort – literally! Fresh snow and hot springs, there is no greater pairing of activities. After any winter fun activity, immersing yourself in a hot and steamy pool is a must. Finish off your day with the best Ski and Soak in North America – enjoy a revitalizing soak in the mineral hot pools as every ski lift pass includes FREE entry to the hot springs – it’s a beautiful thing!
