Brief Description:

Responsible for all aspects of kitchen management for the Golf Course.


The main roll of the outlet chef is to supervise and performance manage all back of house staff members, including stewarding, receiving and cooks.  To assist in the creation and training packages and to ensure all on-going training needs are met.  During the golf off season, other duties will arise such as assisting in ski hill menu development, working main lodge catering functions and assisting the resort executive chef with other duties as needed.

  • Oversee all receiving procedures
  • Ordering and quality control of food and beverage supplies
  • Completion of all food inventories, and necessary variance checks
  • Preparation of weekly schedules, and payroll reporting
  • Coordinate and assist in implementation of special promotions
  • To work with and assist in the creation of yearly budgets
  • To be responsible for the control of all food and labour costs pertaining to back of house operations
  • To work to limit staff turnover, by offering exceptional training and offering an enabling environment
  • Other duties as they may arise 
  • Must have at least five years experience in kitchen management in a high volume restaurant
  • Red Seal Certification
  • Food Safe Level 1
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Must be able to work weekends and nights shifts as required

Brief Description:

Fairmont Hot Springs Resort is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual with strong time management and communication skills.  As a member of the Sales and Marketing team, the Group & Events Assistant will assist the Group Sales Coordinator in execution of group sales events, with weddings being a priority, and assist fulfillment teams when required during the event.


  • Attend weekly sales & catering meetings to ensure Food & Beverage, Kitchen and Front Desk have a complete understanding of upcoming group sales events and requirements
  • Assist Group Sales Coordinator in responding to clients' questions and requests
  • Assist in obtaining last minute details and changes from clients and communicate to appropriate departments
  • Conduct venue inspections, including ceremony sites, to ensure setup and specific requirements as per the BEO are met
  • Assist with all aspects of event execution on event day including: provide access to venues for clients to decorate prior to the event and ensure clients' needs are being met; putting shuttle signage in lobby; room drop of bride & groom gift; assist with shuttle organization and ceremony requirements
  • Assist with site visits with designated existing clients and document their requests and details for the event
  • Attend ceremony rehearsals
  • Calculate final payment estimates as per the BEO prior to each wedding
  • Obtain payments and update billing spreadsheets
  • Update various spreadsheets for departments ie SOCAN & ReSound Document
  • Develop wedding guides and floor plans for client and staff reference
  • Assist with marketing special events and activities
  • Assist with any other duties as required or needed
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills
  • Work well in a team environment with a strong ability to interact with other departments

Children ages 12 & under stay FREE.
