The Fairmont Hot Springs Resort Golf Learning Centre has programs for golfers of all ages and abilities and we are now home to the brand new Trackman Radar Swing Analysis. Learn to golf and improve your game with expert instruction.

  • Head Teaching Professional - Jeremy Johnson, CPGA

Jeremy originally hails from Revelstoke, BC and joins the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort golf team for his second year. He previously worked as head professional at Windermere Golf Course and then worked for the prestigious Victoria Country Club on Vancouver Island before moving back to the Columbia Valley as Golf shop manager/ Head Professional at Mountainside and Riverside Golf Course in 2010. Jeremy has excellent teaching skills and is popular with students of all ages, including the Youth Golf & Adventure Camp. He is recognized as one of the best playing professionals in the region.

  • Executive Professional - Peter Smith, CPGA

Peter, originally from Edinburgh, Scotland has been a long-standing member of the CPGA. Peter has served on the BCPGA board of directors and has been instrumental in the success of the BCPGA. Peter is currently the executive vice president for Fairmont Hot Springs Resort and is also Fairmont Hot Springs Resort director of golf, overseeing all the programs as a consultant to our team of teaching professionals.

  • Class A Professional - Alec Hubert, CPGA

Joining the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort golf team for the 2014 season is Alec Hubert.  Originally from the small town of Pembroke, Ontario Alec brings several years experience in the golf industry and a keen interest in all aspects of the game.  After receiving a degree in Public Administration from the University of Ottawa, Alec went on to work as an Assistant Professional at The Royal Ottawa Golf Club.   He spent five seasons at The Royal Ottawa where he was able to learn from many highly experienced golf instructors.  Alec looks forward to lending his insight to others as they try to improve their golf games.

Trackman Radar Swing Analysis

The Trackman Radar Swing Analysis is a state of the art Performance Studio. Merging video with radar, Trackman delivers a swing and shot data and visual report on the golfer.

Sessions are tailored to each individual golfer's needs and the swing and shot data is sent by email for future reference.

Trackman's Combine Test is a standardized test, enabling you to identify strengths and weaknesses as well as compare your performance to others and professionals.

A 3 day camp with golf in the morning and adventure in the afternoon - the perfect balance! Kids ages 8 - 12 years can expect 3 full days of exciting outdoor activities and instruction from one of our golf pros. This is a great camp for kids who want to have fun and make new friends! Call BC Rockies Adventures to Register 250.345.6049. Includes lunch, club rental, green fees, daily CPGA lesson, kayak intro with accredited instructor, camp t-shirt, entry to hot springs, all supplies and equipment. 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Tuesday to Thursday July 7 to August 25, 2015.

Little Fairmonsters Golf Clinics

The emphasis for Little Fairmontsters is on having fun all while introducing the game of golf for the first time. Suitable for children ages 3 - 6 yrs. $15/day/child. Saturdays 10:00 am -11:00 am from April 18 - October 31.

Junior Fairmontsters Clinics 

An introduction to the full swing & short game. Emphasis on the proper set-up, grip and posture. Open to beginners and experienced young golfers. $20/day/child. Saturdays 11:30 am - 12:30 pm from April 18 - June 20; Wednesdays - Saturdays from June 24 - August 29; Saturdays only from September 5 - October 31.

Open to anyone looking for a comprehensive series of 4 clinics per week covering all facets of the game. $25/day/person. Tuesdays - Fridays 10:30 am - 11:30 am from March 31 - October 30.

Golf Swing Oil & Lube Clinic

Golf swing feeling rusty? Need a tune-up? This open forum clinic is a troubleshooting session that will focus on getting back to the fundamentals of golf.  $25/day/person. Saturdays 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm from April 2 - October 31.

Ladies Lesson "Nine & Wine"

An afternoon for ladies only, includes golf instruction on a weekly topic, 9 holes of golf including cart and a $15 voucher for use in Dapper's Landing. $45/day/person. Wednesdays 5:00 pm from April 8 - October 28.
