Fairmont Hot Springs Resort in BC

To provide upscale customer service on the course by selling refreshments and food on the beverage golf cart at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort golf courses – Riverside and Mountainside. 
We are currently hiring for the Spring and Summer 2012 season. Golf courses open April 2012.  

• Sell refreshments and food on beverage cart. 
• Responsible for individual cash drawer from sales on beverage cart including balancing cash receipts at end of shift and making change for cash sales. 
• Load and unload beverage cart being able to lift and carry objects safely to store in proper place. 
• Drive beverage cart adhering to safety standards as required. 
• Ensure clean and orderly condition of beverage cart. 
• Help in Caddyshack (snack shop) as required. 
• Take customer orders and prepare/handle food/drink. 
• Restock coolers daily and maintain inventory on the daily basis. 
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a neat and orderly professional appearance. 
•  Available to work a flexible schedule, upon notice, including evening. 
•  Adhere to all policies and procedures as established in FHSR Employee Handbook.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, independent, friendly and organized.  One must enjoy being outside as this position requires you out on the course rain or shine!

Qualifications include:

• 18 years of age as dealing with alcohol.
• Experience within the Food and Beverage industry.
• Enjoys working with people.
• Enjoys working both independently and within a team environment.

This position is outdoors rain or shine on the FHSR golf courses.  You will be required to drive a cart and must adhere to the safety regulations of operation. 

There is some carrying of product involved when stocking up cart. Proper technique of lifting will be reviewed upon employment.
