For generations, skiers and riders have returned to Fairmont Hot Springs Resort for its sunny slopes, steaming hot pools, and a “back-in-the-day” attitude. We don’t care about the colour of your one-piece suit, or about the shape of your skis. You’ll enjoy the lack of lift lines, the uncrowded trails, and run after run of perfect corduroy.
The very best après ski is found at Fairmont Hot springs Resort. Nothing matches an exhilarating day on the slopes in the ruggedly beautiful Rockies, followed by a revitalizing and soothing soak in our famous mineral hot pools. Soak and swim! Every ski lift pass includes FREE entry to Canada’s largest natural hot mineral pools. All 14 groomed trails funnel to the chalet, adding to the resort’s family friendliness. The ski area offers equipment rentals, slopeside dining and lounge in a cozy chalet, a ski shop, friendly staff, spectacular Rocky Mountain views, and plenty of ski programs (including Nancy Greene) with certified instruction for skiers and snowboarders of every age and ability. We also have a fun terrain park for novice to intermediate riders and SnowPlanet, an out-of-this world, alien-themed learning zone for the kids!

Magic Carpet — The Magic Carpet located in SnowPlanet is the very best place to learn in the Columbia Valley! Step on and admire the view of jagged mountain peaks while you travel to the top of our Novice slope. Smooth, wide, gentle terrain will help you quickly build confidence.
At its lofty elevation of 4,200 feet, our cozy ski chalet offers magnificent views and a broad selection of casual fare for a light breakfast or hearty lunch. After an exhilarating day of skiing or riding the slopes, join in the après-ski fun and relaxation amid the warmth of our roaring wood-burning stone fireplaces, on our large outdoor deck, or in the lively environs of our fully licenced Desperados Lounge.
Fairmont Hot Springs Resort recommends wearing helmets for skiing and riding. Skiers and snowboarders are encouraged to educate themselves on the benefits and limitations of helmet usage. The primary safety consideration, and obligation under the Alpine Responsibility Code, is to ski and ride in a controlled and responsible manner.
