Whether you’re walking to the Indian Baths located on our property or hiking the ski hill to the hanging glacier, we can accommodate your need for adventure on any level. Our experienced guides can lead you and your family for a day of great hiking while teaching you about the fascinating geology and ecology of the area or give you the tools you need to set out on your own. In any direction you’ll be sure to see local plant and wildlife and we guarantee your jaw will drop at least once when you take a look around you and take in the magnificence of this valley.

This popular trail offers a scenic walk through a spectacular canyon along Fairmont Creek.
White Trail
Distance: 2.5 km
Rating: Easy-Moderate
Enjoy walking through forested and open areas to a scenic lookout. View Columbia Lake to the south, the Hoodoos formations to the west and to the north, see the Columbia River and its flourishing wetlands.
Orange Trail
Distance: 4 km
Rating: Moderate
Meandering through a thick Douglas fir forest, this trail opens up into grassland area. This trail connects to the White Trail, leading to a stunning view of the Columbia Valley.
Yellow Trail
Distance: 1.8 km
Rating: Moderate (one steep section)
Enjoy a scenic walk from the Lodge to the Fairmont Village Market.
Red Trail
Distance: 9 km
Rating: Moderate (long with elevation)
Challenge yourself on this spectacular day hike to the Fairmont Falls at the ski area, and you will be rewarded with unparalleled mountain scenery.
