Ski School

One of Fairmont Hot Springs' most popular attractions is its family-friendly ski resort - a wonderful hill on which to learn to ski or snowboard or to hone and refine your skills.

Fairmont Hot Springs Ski School has an array of skiing and snowboarding programs for all ages, from the young to the young at heart. The Fairmont Fun Club for Kids honours our philosophy that children learn best with other children (under the guidance of Certified Ski Instructors and Snowboard Instructors).

All of our Ski School staff are certified by the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance.

Complete ski and snowboard equipment packages are available through our rental shop.

SKI SCHOOL PROGRAMS

All ski and snowboard lessons are taught by our friendly and fully certified professional instructors. We offer a selection of group and private lessons for all skill levels, along with a wide variety of exciting special programs.

Group Lessons - Learn to ski or snowboard or further develop your technique in our popular group lessons.

Private Lessons - Available for adults and children, enjoy a personalized ski or snowboard lesson with one of our certified instructors.

Beginner Ski & Snowboard Packages - For complete novices, this all-inclusive package is a value-packed introduction to the slopes.

Kids Adventure Club (Ages 5 to 12) - A fun-filled activity program with instruction, a hot lunch and an awards presentation!

Ladies Day - Ladies you deserve a mid-week break! Enjoy our friendly and informal ladies program with a special après ski activity.

Snowbirds (Ages 4 to 8) - This all-inclusive, 5-week learn-to-ski program is great value for beginners.

Board Wild (Ages 6 to 12) - This all-inclusive, 5-week learn-to-board program is great value for beginners.

Nancy Green Ski League (Ages 6 to 10) - NGSL is a popular 10-week skill development program for children with a minimum ability to ski green runs.

Nancy Green Ski League Plus (Ages 7 to 12) - The advanced 14-week NGSL+ program builds stronger skiers with an emphasis on race training and competition.

RBC Riders (Ages 8 to 14) - Similar to NGSL, this 10-week snowboard freeride program is designed for children with a minimum ability to ride green runs.
