BC Rockies Base Camp
A place where kids can be kids! Base Camp offers the Valley’s largest inflatable playland, mini putt, beach volley ball, tennis, trails for families, a 27 foot tipi, picnic area, kayak tours, bike rentals, and more!
Just steps away from the Resort’s Lodge is your one-stop location for family fun!
2012 Schedule: Base Camp will be open daily from the May Victoria Day long weekend to September Labour Day long weekend. Open on weekends in September after Labour Day up to Thanksgiving Weekend, closing Sunday October 7, 2012.

Half Day and Full Day Camps
Spring and Fall 2012 Kids Camps available Saturday mornings only, until the May Long Weekend. Details TBC. Parents! It’s time to relax, play golf, spa, or do whatever you please while we entertain your children. Your kids will enjoy a daily selection of themed programs that offer fun, exercise and education.

Half day $30 per child, full day $55 per child. Additional $10 per child for lunch.
*Children under 5yrs must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration required.
Youth Golf and Adventure Camp (3 Day Camp)
Youth Camp 2012: Weekly camps every Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9:00am-4:00pm. July and August.
Boys and girls ages 7 to 13 can expect three days of golf in the morning and adventure in the afternoon. Enjoy exciting hands-on learning with a Golf Professional and an experienced BC Rockies Adventures Guide. Activities include low ropes, geocaching, cool experiments, intro to putting, learn to swing, and more!

Kayak Tours
A perfect introduction to kayaking for families! Discover the ease of paddling a stabilized river kayak down the scenic Columbia River. No rolling, no spray skirts, no tiny holes to squeeze into, and no experience needed! We’ll provide you with all the tools and simple skills. Have fun on the water with our fun and accredited guides.
Double and single kayaks available. Children must be 5 years or older.
$55 per person. Preregistration required. (May-October)

Geocaching & GPS Rentals
Try the fastest growing outdoor sport in Canada! Use a GPS to locate hidden “geocaches” (treasures) around Resort property. No experience needed. Fun for everyone!
$10 dollars for GPS and Intro Booklet rental. (Year-round)
Horseback Riding & Pony Rides
Located on resort property, our trail rides offer an exciting adventure for kids 6yrs and older. For the little ones, hop on Midge the pony for a fun tour in the pony corral.
1 hr trail rides (9:00am and 1:30pm) $43 per person
1.5 hr trail rides (11:00am and 4:00pm) $57 per person
Pony rides (15 minutes) $10 per child
(May-September)
Family Hiking & Biking
With over 50 Km of trails located on resort property and even more choices within the local area, families can choose a new trail for each day of their vacation! Trails ranging from easy to more difficult will take you to scenic lookouts, waterfalls, through beautiful forests and will keep your family active.
Bike rentals available year round.

New for spring 2011! Fairmont Hot Springs Resort and the Fairmont Trails Association are in the process of resigning the current local trails and have added new trails for you to explore. Now it will be easier than ever to find your favourite trail.
